Important: New requirement for ALL customers travelling to the USA

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has introduced temporary travel requirements to help reduce the risk of Ebola entering the United States.

From 04:59 GMT on 4 November, all customers travelling to the USA must submit an attestation form confirming that they have not been in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) within the previous 21 days. This will be sent to them directly by British Airways as part of their pre-travel communications and will also be available on ba.com , so please ensure customer contact details are included in all bookings.

Please also note that the form must be completed for each passenger within 72 hours prior to departure. The requirement applies to all customers, regardless of nationality, including US citizens, Green Card holders and those connecting through the USA.

Customers who have visited the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) within the previous 21 days will need to re-book their flight as per the latest Customer Guidelines.

Customers who have visited South Sudan or Uganda within the same period should also be advised to check the CDC website for the latest information, as entry restrictions apply.

US citizens requiring consular assistance can visit Additional Consular Information for Americans Regarding the Ebola Outbreak or contact the Department of State on:
+1-202-501-4444 from outside the US
+1-888-407-4747 from the US and Canada
