Ireland calling! Aer Lingus Announces New Non-Stop Pittsburgh to Dublin Service

Aer Lingus, is set to launch a new direct flight connecting Pittsburgh and Dublin, beginning May 2026. Operating four times per week, this service will offer seamless onward connections from Dublin to major European cities including Paris, Rome, Geneva, Amsterdam, Manchester, and London Heathrow.

The airline has collaborated closely with partners in the region, including the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh International Airport and VisitPITTSBURGH, to successfully launch this new service, which will strengthen the cultural, sporting, and business connections between Ireland and Pennsylvania.

This service also builds on Aer Lingus’ deep connections to the city of Pittsburgh, where it serves as an Official Airline Partner of the legendary Pittsburgh Steelers. In September 2025, the airline flew the Steelers to Dublin for a historic sold-out game at Croke Park. Additionally, in 2027, the Pitt Panthers will fly to Dublin to face the Wisconsin Badgers in the Aer Lingus College Football Classic, taking place in Week Zero of the College Football calendar

  • The new Dublin-Pittsburgh route will commence on 25th May 2026, operating four times per week. The flights will operate on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday
  • Aer Lingus customers flying to North America can avail of Dublin Airport’s US Pre-Clearance facility, allowing them to conveniently clear US immigration before leaving Dublin and arrive in the U.S. as domestic passengers.
  • This flight will be operated on a 184-seat Airbus A321neo LR, which offers economy seats and a business class cabin with 16 lie-flat seats designed for maximum comfort.
