United’s new A321XLR from Dublin to Washington, D.C.

United’s A321XLR aircraft is taking off from Dublin to Washington, D.C.

Dublin will be one of the first two cities served by United’s new Airbus A321XLR aircraft beginning 2 December 2026.

The new aircraft will feature 20 United Polaris℠ suites with privacy doors, 12 United Premium Plus℠ seats, 34 Economy Plus℠ seats and 84 United Economy℠ seats. Customers in all cabins will also enjoy 4K OLED screens with Bluetooth connectivity, a snack bar in United Economy℠, and extra elbow room with access to a shared table across an open middle seat in Economy Plus℠. In addition, MileagePlus℠ members will also benefit from access to free Starlink Wi-Fi.

United offers near year-round* service from Dublin to Washington Dulles (IAD), as well as year-round daily nonstop flights from Dublin to Newark/New York (EWR) and Chicago (ORD). In addition, United operates seasonal daily nonstop services from Shannon to Newark/New York (EWR) and Chicago (ORD).
